I'm Happy,

Today was AWESOME!

I absolutely loved everything about today..............except for the crazy stupid @$#%^&*^%$#@! wind that made my tennis experience a shitty one >.>

Dahlah cannot serve properly, dahlah cannot hit properly. The wind was so strong that every estimation made before hitting the ball went haywire. Le sigh~

Buuuuut, played two hours of badminton in the morning and it was 2 hours of pure fun!
Fun meant that I had to hit myself with the racquet twice on my left leg; one on the thigh and one on my tibia.
If that wasn't enough I almost sprained my right ankle even after I was traumatised by spraining my left ankle and falling on my knee which went blue black for weeks back in Semester 1. Haih.
Oh and I was so into the sport that I actually threw my friend's beloved racquet behind me after attempting to "smash" (mind the inverted commas prz) and the only thought that went through my head was "OH SHIT I'm F#$%^$#@$" XD


But yeah, other than that...today was awesome!!!!!!



Then  I came back home and remembered that I had assignments waiting patiently for me at home


HAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAIH.

who is much younger than me, I kinda reflected myself in that friend.

How I was when I was around their age.
Kinda ironic I would think.

You know sometimes when you talk to a person and that person relates their experience to you. At the same time, you've already been through that situation before and perhaps know a little better now that you've been through it.

It's so so hard to convince/talk it through the other your point of view because...I don't know, probably that person would think
"meh you're too old" or
"I'm not like you!" or
"That's just me la, you and I are different anyways. Stop generalizing people!"

Heh, now I know how it feels to be in my brother's position few years back when I was a totally different person ( towards my family :) ) "you trust your friends over your family?" and I would reply "you don't understand me! but my friend's do! You'll never understand this!"

Tsk tsk.

Although the situation now is different (conversation between me and my friend) but the consensus is still the same.

Sometimes its hard to convince the other about a certain situation. You just have to let that person go through it and experience it for themselves.


Heck, that's what I learned anyway....

You know how sometimes when your parents, your mom especially..when she nags you, you'd go "yeah yeah okay okay okay".

Well, that sorta happened to me just now but it was the other way around.

My mom called me whilst waiting for the traffic light to change (she was driving the car btw).
And I went
"zomgggg HOW MANY TIMES MUST I TELL YOU? DON'T CALL ME WHEN YOU'RE DRIVING LAAAAAAAAA"

and she replied
"yeah yeah yeah okokokok *ehehehe*"

Went to watch the Avenue Q with my cousin and Mark last Friday and I gotta say this show is awesome! :D
Just try imagining Sesame Street with the South Park flavor in it. It's AWESOME :D

I got really sick yesterday and it seems like everyone's mad/angry/tak puas that I'm sick.

I got home at around 6.30PM and had a quick shower before eating my meds and hopped into bed.

Think about 30 minutes or something ( coz I didn't feel as if I slept that long >.> ).
Long called from some noisy place I suppose its 876. I think, he wanted to asked something but I suppose when he knew I was sick he didn't want to "ask me anymore"
I asked whats up and he replied the same thing again bleh
I was at the point where I couldn't care less anymore.
I felt freakin' cold despite the central heating was on, room heater was on and being covered with two blankets and a comforter, wth.


Few hours later my mom called and started yelling on the phone after I said "hello"
I mean, dude. You're sleeping and you picked up the phone and said hello and all you hear was the person on the other end of the phone yelling T.T
She said stuff like " ARE YOU SICK?! YOU SOUND SICK! WHY ARE YOU SICK? WHY ARE YOU SLEEPING AT 8?! "
or that is how much I could remember about the whole conversation anyway.

Obviously I told her that I wasn't sick and asked her why can't I sleep earlier? Apparently its not normal >.>
She yells at me when I'm out with my friends at like 9 and she yells at me for sleeping too early T.T


Called my brother straight after the phone call to tell him not to tell mom that I'm sick >.> (The whole  KHOOsiblings conspiracy against parents imo)
and the moment I said hello he went "wah, are you THAT sick?"  >.>
This fella wins the award of being the most caring-est bro ever lah.
Imagine his wife's going through labor pain next time and he goes "Wah, got so pain or not?"            *snickers*
I swear his wife would stand up and give him a huge slap despite of the pain imo HAHA


After that phone I practically just dozed off a few minutes after then another phone call came in. T'was from Soon Tiong asking me how I was and stuff which was really harmless and thoughful lah comparing to the other phonecalls that I got earlier. Just that I was just dozing off and that phone call came in. hah.

As soon as I dozed off, my brother came back with Vicky asking me to down a couple more meds and bottles of water. When really I felt like eating for some reason but was too lazy to inch out from my bed >.>
And before my brother went out from my room he said " don't even think about turning on your laptop after I get out "

Haha, I guess I get even busier when I'm sick as my phone's ringing more than the times I'm well and being bored to death and needed someone to bug me :D

Monday
Stayed at home, cleaned my room, cooked lunch, clean my toilet, tidy up my books etc, watched movies on the external hard drive that TiongTiong* borrowed me :)

Tuesday
Went to the library to accompany didi.
Was doing my scrap book stuff while he studied.
(Yeap, I got a new hobby now. Cutting old megazine pictures to put into the scrap book. Sounds alot like collecting stamps no? lol)
Been trying to be active in sports, yup yup. Badminton to be exact.

Wednesday
PICNIC with the gang! (Eight Seven Six, 876)
Went to Flagstaff Gardens for picnic. It was really fun cept for the part which I got tummy ache. It sucks being so, how to say..vulnerable to tummy aches after drinking fruit juices :(
Took loads of photos, will upload them up the blog if I remember next time :P

Thursday
Shopping dayyyy!
Went to Smith St with the same gang again.
Was a really gloomy day though, was yawning the whole day.
Oh oh, and I remembered I saw this really shuai ker on the tram and I mouthed that to Joyce who was, at that time sitting facing me.
LOL you shudda seen how she checked him out it was like a bottom to top evaluation kinda 'check out'! XD
And me being the lame and dramatic one, laughed so loud that the shuai ker actually looked down at Joyce and took a step back gehehehe*snorts*

Friday
Didn't really do much today I think.
Went for the club meeting which only 3 people (including myself) showed up.
After that I met up with Douglas, Long, Wilson and Maverick for lunch and I think we just walked around. Weird, I can't really remember what we did on Friday hmmm.

edit: Oh yeah we went to DFO and had to go back earlier to accompany my brother and his gf to the optical shop and to the errr, Westfield Shopping Centre.
I'd say today was a very EVENTFUL day because of the goodies that I got....for free :D
Not to mention the customer service! Was awesome :)

Saturday
BADMINTON DAYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYY!
Went with Wilson, Long, Maverick and Ignatius to Albert Park.
Met up with Phing and Mark there too.
Then we went to eat lunch then we hanged out at 876 for a bit.

Sunday (today)
Went shopping with Vicky.
She brought me to all those branded stores which obviously I can't afford but nevertheless nice to oogle at.
Most of the designer labels (which are not as popular as LV and Burberry) but I'd think that their fashion are more...tailored for people who doesn't need to fork out 2k just to get a dress which is as thick as a toilet tissue paper.
.................budden come to think of it, toilet tissue paper can be thick also. Hmm, oklah mamak serviette. How's that? :P
But yeah, they're pretty nontheless.



I don't know why but badminton seems to be more exciting than tennis now :(
Maybe its the weather because its friggin cold!!!

But winter's good. Cold weather is always better than hot weather :)
Speaking of hot weather, I really can't wait to get back home! Screw the quarantine XD
